UP1 Reflection#1 What I learned

My thoughts

I learned three things from Mrs. Tomomi Duquette's presentation.
First, I learned the importance of communication abilities in English. If you speak English as a tool you can have more conversations with people better. I thought that it is great to interpret English as a tool.
Second, I learned that when I described the local thing, I have to think of not only an economy but also a environment.
Third, I learned the importance of promoting the local economy. I often buy foreign foods because it's cheaper than Japanese foods. The money becomes foreign currency. In order to support making Japanese foods, I have to be careful when I buy foods.

I am most interested in ikigai chart from her presentation. I was glad that I got a hint on how to live my life from that. When I decide my carrer path, I will think of that as a basic.

I complete thought that she could speak English from an early age because she has great history. So, I was surprised to hear that she hated studying English.

I want to be able to speak English well like her. When I get training overseas, I want to apply what I learnded from her presentation.

My question for her

  • When you start Niigata sake lovers, do you find it difficult?
  • What is your favorite book?
  • If I drink alcohol first, what should I drink?
  • What should I do hard in university?
